Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams [part 4]

After I was fired without prior notice (without any compensation of course) and trying out my luck at freelancing websites, I stumbled (again) on steemit.

I had seen a couple of videos, I had read some articles, I even had seen a few posts by prominent people on steemit so it had ignited a sparkle of great interest. What was this amazing platform? How could I join? How could I make the most of it? Is it possible for me to monetize my skills?

I wanted to join badly, but I am not the very 'impulsive' type of person. I usually need to plan my next steps long before, I need to know where I am getting into and be able to protect myself.

So I begun reading a number of steemit posts about community, engagement, blockchain etc.

I did read some information and thankfully I discovered a Greek team (hey guys, hiiii!!!)

I also found a purpose, a reason for me to blog about. Something that pleased me and made me happy to do! My aboutheraklion project!

The beginning of it all?

Well, it depends on how you look at it.

It sure was an important point of my life, as it opened the door(s) for me to a whole new level, to a whole new dimension of unknown to me thoughts, situations, people, world(s)

“A story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead.”

― Graham Greene, The End of the Affair

Our life is full of discoveries. The thing is, do we pay attention to them? Do we understand that we experience them? Do we take action? Or do we simply, passively go through life as is?

There are opportunities everywhere. Some hidden, some right out in the open.

But we are the ones who need to work for them.

If we have absolutely no direction, and we only wander.
If we have no vision and we only see with the eyes.
If we have no dreams and we only care about now.
If we have no purpose and we do not see potential.

Then how can we expect anything to change in our life or in our world?

“Live the Life of Your Dreams: Be brave enough to live the life of your dreams according to your vision and purpose instead of the expectations and opinions of others.”
― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
