Be True to Yourself [Part 3]
Internet is full of opportunities.
Not everyone can take advantage of it, or earn a living - but you can't deny the fact that there are so many choices/options/opportunities online that it is mind blowing.
I used to be a person that could help a simple offline business, get out in the open, be known to people interested in its services, help increase online visibility and of course increase sales and thus profits
I had put a lot of effort and the results were great! You can read of a working experience I had here
You need to believe in something to make it work.
You need to have faith, otherwise you cannot promote a service, a business etc etc
I did believe in the business I represented, but then I got betrayed at the very last minute.
So why not try to .. believe in myself?

I started wondering, in what ways I could take advantage of my knowledge and of my skills attained in my last jobs. I was thinking, searching online, reading all kinds of articles.
I realized that one thing I could do was 'admin support'
I would find solutions in all kind of stuff like ... how do I make my pdf a word file, how can I add this word in this jpg, how can I remove the prices from this file etc etc etc
Freelancing
So my initial thought was to search freelancing platforms, see how I could succeed and devote a great amount of time in knowing more about them.
I signed up in most of them. Had to think about what to write on my profile, my skills, my talents etc
That was the most difficult thing.
“The beginning of wisdom is the definition of terms.”
― Socrates
I could not easily do that. I am a nice person, working for the best, finding solutions in anything you can imagine. I can learn pretty much anything I set my mind to. I can be the best in something. I have tried and achieved many things. But, how can all these be written, explained, and help people want to hire me?
I did make some bucks
But because I mostly worked on a platform that I would send proposals to people wanting someone to work for them and to complete a small task. I even had repeat customers, but it was because I was prompt, precise and cheap
But I can't say I was living my dream.
“He is not only idle who does nothing, but he is idle who might be better employed.”
― Socrates
Trying to search for job offers and sending many many proposals a day, to receive none or a just a few was not productive or creative for me.
I decided to break free. I continued exploring.
And then, blockchain came my way and found me.... [to be continued]
