Project Details
My steemit journey started approximately 8 months back and I am excited to broaden my horizons with new, promising and amazing projects!
In case you have not noticed, @utopian.io & @davinci.witness have officially launched the Translation Category and reward Open Source project translations, fully managed by @davinci.witness
I know that Greece has embraced cryptocurrencies and there is a great interest for new projects, so this is another reason I am super excited to bring remarkable projects closer to my country.
I will be happy to describe my work project and hopefully you will share my passion about it!
Meet .. Byteball!

This was a rather demanding first project for me. First of all, it was a wiki which means that there are special formats and I should be extra careful so that no mistakes are done with the code.
Luckily as I am an occasional wikipedia contributor myself, I already had some experience with wiki format
Also, there was a very informative document in advance and a great Language Manager with Team who strive to bring a uniform result and are always around with a smile and a reply to the questions asked!
Note: When translating a wiki, one should be extra careful about translating same words the same way in the different places of the wiki.
There are many terms that should not or cannot be translated in the local language (as they will make no sense). In such cases I tried to include information for even a first-timer to be able to comprehend.
- Languages
The source of the project was in English and I translated it in Greek (my native language)
- Word Count
I have translated and cross checked the following files:
- Main Page: 187 words
- Overview: 986 words
Total of 1173 word (approximately 1000 words)
