Instagram Stories are now available via desctop browser (A re-discovery worth to be mentioned)
You wake up on a Sunday morning and suddenly you discover something and you have this feeling of making a super discovery, so you decide to post about it and inform anyone who might be interested.
But then, you think .. just to make sure, let me 'google it'. And you do.
And you discover that you come up at least second (if not last)
But then you think .. let's repost it, maybe it will be useful for someone who (like me earlier) does not know it yet.
An then .. you have got a couple of more ideas and off you go!
Our topic is Instagram stories and the fact that for the past few weeks they have also been available to the desktop users, not only the Instagram app users.
This is really big, it means that you(your business) can be discovered (if you have an instastory going) from more people and you can discover more stories right from your browser.
So, let's quickly mention a few things for the ones that are not Instagram saavy (yet)
Instagram in a nutshell:
Instagram, launched in 2010 and now owned by facebook, is a mobile, internet based application for photo / video sharing (publicly or privately)
The Instagram global community numbers more than 800 million users sharing photos, videos and Instagram stories every second of the day.
This is the reason instagram is also very popular among businesses who have found a way into the heart of their consumers, trying to catch their attention (organically or via the promotional paid ads)
Instagram stories are already more than 1 year old and have become very famous among the users. Stories only appear for 24 hours and after that they disappear.

So now we come back to my original re-discovery.
For the last few weeks, it is possible to view the stories through any web browser.
Of course you should sign in to your account and of course it is not possible to send a message through the web.
You may read more here
A very interesting feature in stories, is the poll option. You can read more here and try it yourself!
Extra Tip! It used to be possible to create an Instagram account only with a smartphone and through the application. Now someone can as well sign up and create a new account through any web browser.
Follow me on Instagram or twitter and feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Even if I do not know something, I will do my best to find an answer / way!
