Disclaimer: This is not a post about investment, nor trading. It could be a post about self-growth, but maybe it is more about my opinion regarding how to be successful on hive in life.

It is a long time I wanted to write about the subject, but I kept putting it off.

Yesterday, I saw this post by @clixmoney. In the post, he discusses about how to get upvotes, and how you should forget all about it if you want to earn them.

I agree and believe that there is much more to it, depending on our own goals, dreams, hopes and actions.

Success or Happiness?

Everyone wants to be successful, and earn. And this is the main motivation for people who enter a monetized social media platform. Usually, new users get to see that it is not so easy to get big upvotes so many of them just do something else and usually leave.

My belief is that the issue starts from the mail goal, which raises the expectations.

Goal: Get crypto-rich very quickly -> Try -> Fail -> Disappointed -> Exit -> Change Direction

But what about happiness? Is it different than success? Are these two connected at all?

If you are wondering what I believe, then .. I really don't care so much!

As I grow older, I have learned that priorities change with time.

Change your goals, change your direction and ... be happy!

If you do what you love, you will always be happy.
And you can even be successful in the end, because if you are enjoying something then you get to be good/better/best at that and eventually you enjoy it so much that you don't even care about anything else :)

If you have come so far, it means that you are really interested in finding a way of succeed, allow me to give you some ideas about some types of content you may research,post,learn!

~ Write about what you care & love!
~ Don't be afraid to experiment!
~ Follow other hiveans, be inspired, combine, but do NOT copy!_[1]

You need to remember, that only YOU are your own power. Make the most of it.

And what about investing?

I have come to believe that the most precious thing you can invest on is your own time.

I have spent some time thinking, I have been trying to discover myself and to improve myself. I am constantly thinking of what to do in my life, I have started a couple of projects that are growing and I am growing through them too.

We should think about our interests, about our hopes and wishes. These are what can be transformed into goals, and then - when the goal is something specific, we can find our path towards it. If do not know what we want, we cannot know where to turn to.

Invest in your passion
Invest in your time
Invest in your friends

Reward does not only come in material things.

^{And of course if you can afford it, invest in crypto too - but at your own risk!
