Let's not forget the animals & pigeons during lockdown ...

I visited my home city @aboutheraklion (in Crete, Greece) today, after a long time of absense.
Due to the imposed lockdown, and to some circumstances before that - it was more than 3 months I did not visit my city.

I saw empty streets
I did not see many cars driving on the streets

But I did see people walking (now that precautionary measures are starting to be slowly waved)

People would walk their dogs
People would run
People would run their bike
People would walk and talk to friends

Always with precautionary measures on.

What surprised me a lot was this man, that came to feed the pigeons.
He was wearing a protective suite, held a bread into his hand and was feeding the pigeons. Right next to our city's monuments.

At difficult times like this we have been going through (and still are) - lets not forget the lovely animals .. lets remember to put some food for them out of our house or remind our friends and relatives do the same.

Thanks for visiting, I will be posting more tomorrow because I just got back :)
