You start investing in cryptocurrencies when you begin to realize that there are many challenges and a few flaws that can create problems. ECO: A new global currency (open source) protocol claiming to be easier, safer and faster than paper money

This is what Garrett Camp, Uber’s cofounder and chairman` just did. Announced his own digital currency. ECO claimes to be the ”New Type of Money You Can Use Anywhere In The World”

Why will ECO be different than other cryptocurrencies?

One of the main differences of ECO will be that it will run on “verified nodes” and not on anonymous ones. Verified nodes will be universities and well known research institutes around the world, with which Camp will partner to run the nodes.

Another very important difference will be the token distribution. Camp wants the token to be distributed evenly, fairly. He believes that the more people own it, the better it will be and apparently they aim to disseminate a big supply to the first billion users. Camp will fund a new non-profit organization “Eco Foundation” in order to spread the Eco world widely.
