For me, November is a very special month.

Usually, during this month a lot is going on .. mostly behind the scenes.

In Crete, the summer season is usually very stressful, and after November people are starting to live a more normal, relaxed life. It is a time that we have the opportunity, having a more clear mind, to review the summer time outcome and to make our preparations for next year, while taking important and sometimes life changing decisions.

This morning I was enjoying some curation time when I saw this inspiring and it brought back colors, smells and memories.

It was then when I decided that in the next few days (as I prepare some very important posts) ..

I will be posting a few of my older autumn pictures, sometimes with a story to go with :)

Take the Risk; Break the Walls Around You

This image was captured in the year that I took one of the most crucial work decisions of my life.

After struggling for a long time, I decided that I had to leave my job and take my chances as I would dive into the unknown & carnivorous business world.

I am not sure if all my decisions were correct, but I am sure that there are times that you just have to 'cut the strings' keeping you tied to the past, to old, unproductive habits. And that was what I did back then.

I may have struggled before and after, but I did manage to cut the knot and break free into what became my own world of choices.

And even if not all memories are nice, it is best to be left behind

Don't look back in Anger. Soften your heart and move forward, to the world of Hope
