REVIEW - TOUCH SOCIAL mobile app- by @katerinaramm

As we are diving deeper into the digital world, as people are sharing more information, as the technology evolves, so does the space of Social Media Platforms.

Just a couple of years ago, the social media platforms except of fun and interactive, became .. rewarding!
The users did not only gain fame and popularity for their content creation but they started to be rewarded in cryptocurrency or in other forms of redeemable points.

My belief is that in a few more years, the "rewarding" platforms will have multiplied, and it will be very difficult for new users to choose where to devote their time.

As a user, I have tried to create content for a couple of platforms other than hive. In the coming weeks, I will do my best to share my point of views for some of them.

Dear Friends, please allow me to introduce .. the Touch Social app.

Touch Social

Touch social is a mobile application for content creation, where users are rewarded with TSD - This will soon be exchangeable with TST (Touch Social Tokens).

How many users are active?

The Team* informs us that there are approximately 2,000 active users for both the IOS and the Android Version.

Rewards

The users post images (in the future they will be able to post videos and more) or text posts.
Every post has a certain value as per their value based content algorithm. This means that according to the users' level, the interactions to their posts, the likes, comments, or shares that they receive - the reward is defined and then sent to the user's in-app wallet 120 hours (5 days) after the post is created.

What can a user do with the TSD received?

At the moment, the most TSD the user has, the higher their level becomes. That is increasing both the rewards received and also the rewards they distribute to the other users.

Right now, the TSD cannot be moved from the wallet. However, in the future, the wallet will be updated and users will be able to exchange TSD with TST (Touch Social Token)

Regarding the TST (Touch Social Token)

There is a total supply of 1 Billion and this figure cannot be changed.

- CONTENT -

What content is currently shared?

The users mainly share images and sometimes text or quotes or art created by them. The topics vary from nature, to cryptocurrency, to art..

What can someone do in the platform?

A user can post their own content (image or text), share other people's content, comment, follow other people, send direct messages and they also have access to their wallet.

Limitations/Censorship

There are no limitations to the likes/upvotes you can give, or to the comments/content you can share. However if you post endless photographs, the chances are that you will be unfollowed.

Reporting Content

A user can report content that they consider offensive by clicking the 3 dots on the upper side of the posts

Referral System

There is a referral system in place, you can find your referral link at the "Touch Base" Option
Every new users who joins using your unique link, earns you 2 TSD (As per current data)

Levels

As you keep posting and earning, your account level increases. This earns you and your friends more rewards. As I am informed, currently the top level is 50.

Tip

At the beginning you earn some TSD for your first post, the first 50 users you follow etc. Make sure to claim it (Go to option Touch Base from the menu and click on 'Claim')

Keep in mind that every 24 hours you can click a button at the above option and claim an amount of TSD (this depends on your level and TST staked)

My honest review

I have been using the app almost on a daily basis, for approximately 10-30 minutes per day.

User experience
To my (old) phone, the speed is not so great - however I believe that this is me and not the app's fault.
I find the app very easy to use, there are big buttons and you can immediately understand how to post and how to follow new users. However it takes too many clicks to do certain things (such as to go to my profile and to answer to the comments, especially if they are under different posts)
I wish to see a better notification system so that I can easier follow back the users who follow me, or respond to their comments.

Earnings
I have earned approximately 750 TSD in these 4 months. However I do not know how much this is, because no TSD > TST is yet announced. If they are equal to one another, then since one TST is worth $0.0118 > I have earned approximately $9 (with current rate - JUNE 30th 2020)

Will I continue to use it? Yes for now, you never know what the future holds :) Plus I like to see more of the world and show my world. I believe there will be a change of content when more formats will be added. This remains to be seen and to be .. re-reviewed :)

In the future ...

There will be more updates to the app itself and the exchange update for TSD > TST will be implemented. I was also informed that in the future the users will be able to share videos, audio, livestream and also gifs.
