These beautiful French Angelfish (pomacanthus paru) are found at depths of between 2 and 100 meter and their size can be up to 41 cm.1

The French Angelfish live in the Western & Eastern Atlantic Ocean, usually in shallow reefs and most of the times are spotted in pairs.

They feed on sponge, algae, tunicates and while they are juvenile, they clean parasites off of other fishes.2

Mating Behaviour

They manifest permanent pairing having the same mate for life. They swim slowly side-by-side and every pair defends their territory against neighboring pairs or other intruders in their space.

In case they drift apart from one another, they circle around greeting each other in a behavior that is called ‘carouseling’

This species is considered to be one of the least concern according to scientists3

The TakeAway

Faithful, monogamous, greet each other happily every time they meet after a small separation and swimming side by side for ever and ever.

Romance. Love. Hope.

United we Stand. Divided we Fall.
Order these as you wish

Let's respect nature so that all the creatures can continue to enjoy their every day romantic dates.
