Steemit. A platform with more than 776.604 users. With so many people actively in the platform, many steemians are helping by posting informative content, answer questions when they see them etc.

I have also often googled information and also searched on steemit in order to come up with a solution or in order to craft a post with information as I understand and wish to transmit to my friends.

But although in most cases answers can be found if searched, there are times that you just need to find a way to reach a more ‘official’ source or to ask a question that should be seen by many, in order to be addressed.

So, once again I have a question. Only that this time, I am not sure how to find an answer.

And I request your help. Thank you in advance for reading and for taking the time to share your ideas, replies, comments.

Where to find answers from “official sources”

I have found that many information are indeed in the Steemit FAQ. But in most of the cases they are not being updated, so you can always google your question and you will find some of the most helpful results to be on top.
Take some time to read a few and this way you can:
a. Find very helpful information
b. Find new people to follow
c. Discover and evolve

Announcements are usually on the Steemit Blog and it is also good to follow Ned (Steemit’s creator)

But wait, there’s more.

What if someone has a problem? Let’s say they have not received their confirmation after their signing up? What should they do?

Where can I ask for help if my question was not answered here?

If you post your question in the #help channel on steemit.chat, the users there may be able to help.
You can also create a post on steemit.com with the tag #help, and someone in the community may be able to answer it.

So, this is what I am about to do now .. try both those channels. First I am posting this post with the #help tag and secondly if no satisfying replies are received, I will head to the steemit chat.

B – My questions

1. REGISTRATION ISSUES

I am also using twitter and others social media, mostly for business purposes.

While surfing on twitter I saw a question by someone to the steemit official twitter account, asking why he has received no email yet even though he received the phone confirmation.

So my question is:

Where should someone ask if they have questions regarding their registration process?

2. STEEMIT COVER PHOTO ISSUES

Just recently a person I know and respect faced a problem with their cover photo on steemit. They wish to change it but they keep receiving the message ‘server returned error'
We have tried with:

• Different size images & Different browsers but it does not work.
• The same image works for me if I upload it in my profile. (using the same image link)

Would any of you have an idea, what we could try to make it work?
